摘要
根据清代日食预报史料,考察了清代西洋历法的日食预报精度。在《历象考成后编》编撰之前,西洋历法的日食预报误差在10到15分钟左右,《后编》开始编撰之后,误差减小并一直稳定到清末。晚清以"新拟算法"推算,日食预报误差明显小于《后编》的推算误差。
This paper found that the error of the solar eclipse predictions of Western computus is about 13 to 16 minutes before the editing of Lixiang Kaocheng Houbian(LXKCHB).After the editing of the LXKCHB,prediction accuracy is improved and is kept stable until the end of Qing dynasty.The accuracy of the 'xinni suanfa'(A New Planned Computus)is much better than that of the LXKCHB;the error of its solar predictions is only about 2 minutes.
