In this paper the authors study the boundedness of solutions of the following nonlinear differential system d x d t=h(y)-φ(x), d y d t=-h(y)f(x)-g(x)k(y),( E ) The authors obtain a new sufficient condition for all solutions of (E) to be bounded. This result can be applied to the Liénard type equation. d \+2x d t\+2+f\+*(x) d x d t+g\+*(x)=0, The result extends and improves some results associated with the same problems in the literature .
