摘要
语言是文化的载体,文化又植根于语言。不了解语言所承载的文化,就不可能掌握所学的语言。而且文化的负迁移现象是外语学习者学习语言的一大障碍。所以,外语教学既是语言教学,又是文化教学,外语教学必须是语言教学与文化教学的统一。从语言和文化的关系、教学与文化的关系及中西文化差异的角度,探析了要提高和培养当代大学生的跨文化交际能力,就必须在外语教学中导入文化知识。
Language is the carrier of culture, but culture is deeply rooted in language. If you haven't some idea of culture, it is impossible for you to grasp the language you are learning. Moreover, the negative cultural move is a great obstacle to studying a language. It is accepted that College English Teaching is not only language, but also cultural teaching to a great degree, so it must be a combination between language and culture. This paper, in the perspectives of the relationship between language and culture, of language teaching and culture, of the differences between Western and Chinese culture, points out that you must put the culture into foreign language teaching if you want to improve and cultivate the international communicative abilities of the contemporary college students.
