摘要
本文认为,语篇翻译教学不只是以语篇为单位的翻译教学,而是要把“语篇”作为一个理论概念引入翻译教学。论文从系统功能语言学的角度讨论了“语篇”概念的内涵,并从理论与实践的关系、如何讲理论以及如何指导实践三个方面探讨该如何将“语篇”概念引入翻译教学。
The article proposes to take text-based translation teaching as a methodology where the text is held as an overarching theoretical concept, rather than as a practice that merely uses the text as its basic unit of operation. It reviews the concept of text from the perspective of systemic-functional linguistics. In its attempt to incorporate the text thus conceived into the teaching of translation, the paper explores the relationship between theory and practice, arguing for the study and application of theories as guidelines for translation practice in general.
