摘要
将面向零件的特征造型向零件间的特征造型延伸,提出了基于虚零件的跨零件特征造型方法,建立了相应的数学模型。通过基体零件与虚零件的布尔差运算对基体零件的实体模型作局部修改,将装配与造型融于一体,大大提高了建模效率,保证了零件间的相关性;并且通过虚零件方便地封装知识,实现知识辅助设计。采用该方法在商业CAD/CAM软件UG上开发了机械联接单元快速设计系统,取得了良好的效果。
A new method, virtual-part-based interpart feature modeling, and its mathematical representation are proposed in this paper. It extends the single part feature-based modeling to interpart feature modeling. In this way, local modification of the solid model of base parts is done by Boolean operation between base parts and the virtual part. Assemblying and part modeling are conducted simultaneously. So it greatly increases modeling efficiency, assures interpart associativity, and the design knowledge can be encapsulated conveniently through the virtual part. etc.. A rapid design system of mechanical connecting elements is thus developed in UG.
