摘要
本文旨在强调语言学习策略在大学英语学习和教学中的重要性。探讨语言学习策略的定义和分类。并通过分析《理工科学生外语学习策略调查》中所得数据,表明不同类型学习者在学习策略运用上的不同倾向,优秀语言学习者在策略运用上有其独到之处。调查中也反映出当前大学英语教学中的某些不足之处和学生对改进课堂教学的反响。本文还对学习策略的教学和培训提出建议,并提出一些问题供进一步研究与探讨。
This paper aims at emphasizing the importance of language learning strategies in college English learning and teaching. It explores the definition and the taxonomy of language learning strategies. By analyzing the data collected in ' A Survey on the Learning Strategies of Students of Science and Technology' , the paper presents to the readers that different learners tend to use different strategies, and the strategies used by some good language learners are worth mentioning. Some weak points in college English teaching can be seen from the urgent needs for an improvement of classroom teaching reflected by the survey. Some suggestions are given for the teaching and /or the training of language learning strategies and some questions are posed for further study in this field.
