摘要
语用用意的翻译涉及到语用隐含意图的处理、译者对目的语读者理解语用用意的所负的责任、文化意象的归化和异化的处理等问题。语用语言对等的方式是归化翻译 ,以达到语言表达的流畅。文化意象的语用用意对等的方式是朝异化翻译发展 ,以促进文化的平等交流和传播 ,而这正是将翻译命题为文化翻译的使命。但译文无论作什么样的处理 ,都要能传达原作的语用用意 ,以实现语言交际的目的 ,这是语用翻译成功与否的惟一标准。
Cultural context conflict results in the non-equivalent translation of pragmatic force. The translation of pragmatic force relates itself with the translation of pragmatic implicature, the responsibility of the translator for the comprehension on the part of the TL reader, and the domestication and foreignization of cultural images. The pragmatic linguistic devices should be idiomatic in the target language while the cultural images and its pragmatic force tend to be preserved in the form of implicature as far as this foreignization does not go beyond the comprehension on the part of the TL reader. No matter what translating skills are to be applied, the pragmatic force should be reproduced in the target text.
