An Evaluation of Foreign Real-time Reference Software

摘要 实时咨询软件的评价标准是功能完备、使用方便和售后服务。主要功能包括文字交谈、网页发送、同步浏览、咨询日志管理和提问转发。文章重点评价了LSSI公司的VRT软件和OCLC的QuestionPoint,建议国内开发标准实时咨询软件和合作咨询网管理软件。 This paper discusses the evaluation criteria of real-time reference software such as the functions, user friendliness and support services. It summarizes the most important features of real-time reference software as text chatting, web page pushing, co-browsing, transcript management and question routing. The LSSI's VRT and OCLC's Question Point are evaluated based on the above evaluation criteria.
