摘要
本文对利用光纤发展有线电视广播网的主要技术问题:无线电视与有线电视;模拟电视与数字电视;有线电视的多频道复用(对副载波调频或调幅);光纤分配系统的激光管、光放大器和分光器;以及用户和图象数据库的交互通信等进行了探讨。
The paper presents the technical considerations concerning the use of optical fiber in building the cable television broadcasting network . The problems under discussion include, radio TV vs.cable TV, analog TV vs. digital TV, multichannel video multiplexing, frequency modulation vs. amplitude modulatron imposed on subcarriers, lasers, optical amplifiers, power splitters used in distribution system,and interactive communication with video data base.
