Cervical spondylosis has become a prevalent and frequently occurring degenerative musculoskeletal disorder in clinical practice.Acupotomy demonstrates remarkable therapeutic efficacy for cervical spondylosis. While conventional acupotomy operates as a non-visualized technique,ultrasound-guided acupotomy significantly enhances both treatment outcomes and procedural safety. However, the clinical adoption of ultrasound-guided acupotomy remains limited. This article systematically reviews the clinical advantages of ultrasound-guided acupotomy intervention and elucidates the contemporary molecular biological mechanisms underlying traditional acupotomy therapy.Furthermore,it provides critical perspectives on future developments in visualized acupotomy techniques and proposes constructive recommendations to address current technical limitations.
