摘要
基于重污染行业数据,构建面板门槛模型,分析正式环境规制强度对重污染行业企业绩效的门槛效应。研究发现:(1)对于重污染行业,正式环境规制强度对企业绩效存在单门槛效应,当正式环境规制强度高于中等规制强度时,对企业绩效存在显著的正向促进作用;当正式环境规制强度低于中等强度时,则不存在显著促进作用。(2)正式环境规制强度对国有和民营企业绩效均存在单门槛效应。对于民营企业,当正式环境规制强度高于中等规制强度时,对企业绩效存在显著的正向促进作用;当强度低于中等强度时,则不存在显著促进作用。(3)正式环境规制强度对不同规模企业绩效均存在单门槛效应,当正式环境规制强度低于中等规制强度时,对大规模企业绩效的提升存在正向促进作用,而对中小规模企业绩效会产生负向抑制作用。基于此,从政府和企业两个维度提出重污染行业企业高质量绿色发展的对策与建议。
Taking enterprises in heavily polluting industries as the research object,this paper constructs a panel threshold model and analyzes the threshold effect of formal environmental regulation intensity on enterprise performance in heavily polluting industries.The study finds that:(1)For heavily polluting industries,formal environmental regulation intensity has a single threshold effect on enterprise performance.When formal environmental regulation intensity is higher than that of medium regulation,formal environmental regulation has a significant positive effect on the improvement of enterprise performance.When formal environmental regulation intensity is lower than that of medium regulation,the positive promotion effect of formal environmental regulation on enterprise performance is not significant.(2)Formal environmental regulation intensity has a single threshold effect on the performance of both state-owned enterprises and private enterprises.For private enterprises,when formal environmental regulation intensity is higher than that of medium regulation,formal environmental regulation has a significant positive effect on the improvement of enterprise performance.When formal environmental regulation intensity is lower than that of medium regulation,the positive promotion effect of formal environmental regulation on enterprise performance is not significant.(3)Formal environmental regulation intensity has a single threshold effect on the performance of both large-scale enterprises and SMEs.For large-scale enterprises,when formal environmental regulation intensity is lower than that of medium regulation,formal environmental regulation has a positive role in promoting the performance of large-scale enterprises while it has a negative inhibitory effect on the improvement of SMEs performance.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for high-quality green development of enterprises from the perspectives of government and enterprises.
