Traditional villages,as living heritage of agricultural civilization, carry the historical memory, wisdom, and spirit of regional ethnic groups. However, they face the risk of cultural gene fragmentation during modernization.Based on the theory of landscape cultural genes, this study focuses on Yaomei Village,a Hakka traditional village in Meizhou City. From the dual perspectives of tangible material cultural genes and intangible non-material cultural genes, the cultural genes of the village were identified and extracted, and an atlas was constructed through methods such as field investigation and spatial analysis. It elaborates on the characteristics of these genes from spatial, institutional, and functional dimensions, while proposing enhancement strategies. This work aims to provide references for the conservation and inheritance of Hakka traditional villages in Meizhou City.
