转矩流变仪在阻燃PPE复合材料润滑体系筛选中的应用 被引量:1

摘要 利用转矩流变仪的密炼机模块与双螺杆挤出模块,对阻燃聚苯醚(PPE)复合材料的润滑体系进行了系统评估。深入探讨了不同种类的润滑剂及其添加量对复合材料加工性能、力学性能及阻燃性能的影响。研究结果表明,转矩流变仪在配方设计中可快速且高效地筛选润滑体系;在阻燃PPE复合材料配方体系所选择的5种润滑剂[季戊四醇硬脂酸酯(PETs)、褐煤酸钙盐、硬脂酸钙、褐煤酸钠盐、聚乙烯蜡]中,热稳定性较高的润滑剂PETs效果最佳。当复合材料体系中PETs的添加量为0.9份时,复合材料的综合性能最佳,拉伸强度为71 MPa、弯曲强度为105 MPa、缺口冲击强度为24.6 kJ/m^(2)、UL 94阻燃性能在0.8 mm下达到V-0级、灼热丝起燃温度达到775℃,可满足电子电器元件的安全应用要求。此外,采用润滑剂PETs可显著改善复合材料的加工性能,当PETs添加量为0.9份时,挤出加工过程中的扭矩降低了6%,能耗节省约4.2%。试验验证了转矩流变仪在PPE复合材料配方设计体系中,润滑体系筛选的快速有效性,并通过润滑剂添加量与加工能耗之间的关系,确定PPE复合材料加工过程中能耗最低的润滑剂添加量。 The lubrication system of flame retardant polyphenylene ether(PPE)composites was systematically evaluated by using the mixer module and twin screw extrusion module of torque rheometer.The influence of various types of lubricants and their dosages on the processing performance,mechanical properties,and flame-retardant characteristics of the composites were thoroughly investigated.Results demonstrate that the torque rheometer can be screened quickly and efficiently lubrication systems in formulation design.Among the five lubricants including pentaerythrityl tetrastearate(PETs),calcium di(octacosanoate),calcium stearate,sodium octacosanoate,polyethylene wax in the flame-retardant PPE composite formulation system,PETs exhibits higher thermal stability performs optimally.When the addition level of PETs is 0.9 phr in the PPE composite system,the overall performance of the composite reaches its peak,with tensile strength of 71 MPa,flexural strength of 105 MPa,notched impact strength of 24.6 kJ/m^(2),and flame-retardant properties meeting UL 94 V-0 at 0.8 mm thickness and the glow-wire ignition temperature of 775℃,fulfilling the safety requirements for electronic and electrical components.Additionally,incorporating PETs significantly enhances the processability of the PPE composite.The torque during extrusion processing decreases by 6%,and energy consumption is reduced by approximately 4.2%.This experiment confirms the efficacy of the torque rheometer in rapidly screening lubrication systems for composite material formulation and determines the optimal dosage of the lubricant that minimizes energy consumption during processing based on the relationship between dosage and processing energy consumption.
