摘要
玄武岩纤维能显著改善沥青混合料路用性能,而发挥其优势的先决条件,是合理进行配合比设计,这就必须明确玄武岩纤维对沥青混合料设计参数的影响规律。但是,现有关于玄武岩纤维沥青混合料设计参数的研究,多集中于对单一玄武岩特征指标展开分析,不仅没有考虑纤维直径的影响,也忽略了纤维直径、长度等几何特征在不同掺量下的复合作用,更未对沥青饱和度、矿料间隙率等参数予以讨论,从而不利于明确玄武岩纤维沥青混合料设计参数变化规律,难以实现其组成设计的最优化。鉴于此,基于马歇尔设计体系,以SMA-13为研究对象,揭示了玄武岩纤维直径、长度等几何特征在不同掺量下对沥青混合料油石比、空隙率、毛体积密度、沥青饱和度、矿料间隙率等设计参数的影响。结果表明:随纤维直径的增大,毛体积密度和沥青饱和度减小,空隙率和矿料间隙率增大;随着纤维长度的增大,毛体积密度、空隙率和矿料间隙率均增大,而沥青饱和度减小;随纤维掺量的增大,空隙率和矿料间隙率增大,毛体积密度和沥青饱和度则相应降低;玄武岩纤维SMA-13最佳油石比随纤维长度和掺量的增大而增大,随直径的增大而减小,且受纤维掺量影响最为显著。
Basalt fiber has the potential to significantly enhance the performance of asphalt mixtures in pavement applications.To fully capitalize on these benefits,it is imperative to establish a well-considered mix ratio design that accounts for the impact of basalt fiber on the design parameters of the asphalt mixture.However,the majority of existing research on the design parameters of basalt fiber asphalt mixtures tends to focus on the analysis of individual basalt characteristics,often neglecting the influence of fiber diameter and overlooking the combined effects of geometric characteristics such as fiber content,length,and diameter.Additionally,critical parameters such as Voids Filled with Asphalt(VFA)and Voids in Mineral Aggregate(VMA)are frequently omitted from these discussions.This lack of comprehensive analysis impedes the clarification of design parameters for basalt fiber asphalt mixtures and complicates the optimization of their composition.In response to this gap in the literature,the present study elucidates the compound effects of the geometric characteristics of basalt fiber,specifically diameter,length,and content,on various design parameters of asphalt mixtures,including oil-stone ratio,porosity,bulk density,VFA,and VMA,based on the Marshall design system and SMA-13 mixtures.The findings indicate that an increase in fiber diameter results in a decrease in bulk density and VFA,while porosity and VMA increase.Conversely,an increase in fiber length leads to an increase in bulk density,porosity,and VMA,accompanied by a decrease in VFA.Furthermore,an increase in fiber content correlates with an increase in porosity and VMA,while bulk density and VFA decrease correspondingly.Notably,the optimal oil-stone ratio for basalt fiber SMA-13 increases with greater fiber length and content,while it decreases with an increase in fiber diameter,with fiber content exhibiting the most pronounced effect.
