摘要
本文提出了一种基于“一体式”位置灵敏碲锌镉探测器的康普顿加和谱仪,使用Geant4程序模拟了该型谱仪对^(137)Cs放射源γ能谱的测量,评估了谱仪的性能。结果表明,符合加和后的γ能谱康普顿平台得到了抑制,且越靠近低能端,抑制越充分。符合事件重数越多,康普顿平台的抑制效果越明显;符合事件重数为4及4以上时,峰总比达到91%,峰康比达到963,康普顿抑制系数为45.5,康普顿平台基本上被完全抑制,得到几乎只有全能峰的γ能谱。“一体式”的结构使得康普顿加和谱仪具有较高的探测效率,其对^(137)Cs特征γ射线全能峰的探测效率约为10^(-2)。模拟结果可以为相应的装置设计和优化提供支撑。
A Compton summing spectrometer based on position-sensitive CdZnTe detector was designed.To evaluate the performance of the spectrometer,measurements of the gamma energy spectrum of the ^(137)Cs radioactive source by this type of spectrometer were simulated using the Geant4 program.The results show that the Compton plateau of the summedγspectrum is suppressed,and the suppression is more adequate where is closer to the low energy side.The suppression of the Compton plateau is more effective when the number of coincidence events is higher.When the number of coincidence events is 4 or more,the peak-to-total ratio reaches 91%,the peak-to-Compton ratio reaches 963,the Compton suppression factor is 45.5,and the Compton plateau is basically completely suppressed,obtaining theγspectrum with almost only full-energy peak.The‘one-piece’structure allows the Compton summing spectrometer to have a high detection efficiency of about 10^(-2) for the characteristicγ-ray full-energy peak of ^(137)Cs.
