业务部门主导实施的数字化转型过程研究——基于组织学习视角 被引量:1

The Implementation Process of Digital Transformation Led by Business Departments:From an Organizational Learning Perspective

摘要 数字化转型本质上是基于数字技术的业务与组织重构,因而是发展新质生产力的关键。尽管企业纷纷尝试数字化转型,但是多数企业尚未取得显著转型成效。主要原因之一是实施模式不当,由信息技术部门或数字化部门主导,难以对症下药和及时响应业务需求。本研究聚焦于业务部门主导实施的数字化转型新模式,以组织学习为理论视角,通过单案例研究剖析其过程,主要有以下研究发现。第一,业务部门可以通过搜索外部经验、集体转译方案、自助开发实验和持续衍生应用等4项关键活动,逐步提升转型认知和能力,最终成功实现数字化转型。第二,业务部门主导实施转型离不开高管和信息技术部门的赋能。尤其是,信息技术部门需要提供低代码和生成性数字平台,从而降低业务部门学习数字技术并实施转型的门槛。本研究提出的业务部门主导模式,显著拓展了现有文献对数字化转型实施的认识,揭示了业务部门的新行为逻辑以及部门间的新型分工协作关系,为数字化转型研究与实践提供了创新性理论贡献和重要启示。 As the reformation of businesses and organizations based on digital technologies,digital transformation(DT)is crucial for devel-oping new quality productive forces.Despite widespread efforts by firms to pursue DT,most firms have not yet gained significant outcomes.A key reason lies in inappropriate implementation modes led by information technology(IT)departments or digital units,which are difficult to de-liver targeted solutions or respond promptly to business needs.This case study examines a new mode of DT implementation led by business de--partments,based on the organizational learning perspective.Our findings reveal that business departments can gradually enhance their DT cog-nition and capabilities by undertaking four key activities:searching for external experience,collectively translating initiatives,self-development experimentation,and continuously deriving applications,which result in successful DT.Moreover,business-departments-led DT is enabled by top management and the IT department.In particular,the IT department needs to provide low-code and generative digital platforms to lower the threshold for business departments to learn digital technologies and implement DT.This study significantly extends existing understandings of DT,revealing new behavioral logic of business departments and inter-departmental cooperation relationships in implementing DT.It pro-vides novel contributions and implications for both the theory and practice of DT.
