摘要
促进高质量充分就业,是新时代就业工作的新定位、新使命。将建设自由贸易试验区作为准自然实验,基于2010—2022年中国A股上市公司数据,采用多期双重差分模型,从就业规模和就业结构两个维度评估自由贸易试验区建设的“稳就业”效应。研究结果表明,自由贸易试验区建设对企业就业规模和就业结构具有显著的正向促进效应,这种促进效应主要通过需求端缓解融资约束、降低交易成本以及供给端人力资本积累等渠道实现。进一步研究表明,自由贸易试验区对国有企业、非劳动密集型企业和东部地区企业的就业结构具有显著提升作用,对就业规模的促进效应只在地区间呈现明显差别。研究结论为深化自由贸易试验区建设、实现高质量充分就业提供了有益政策依据。
Promoting high-quality employmentis a new mission in the new era.As a major measure for deepening reforms and opening up,can free trade pilot zones promote employment?Based on the data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2022,a multi-period difference-in-differences model is adopted to evaluate the“employment stabilization”effect of free trade pilot zones from two dimensions:employment scale and employment structure.The research results show that free trade pilot zones have a significant positive promoting effect on both dimensions,which is mainly achieved through channels such as alleviating financing constraints and reducing transaction costs on the demand side,as well as human capital accumulation on the supply side.Further research indicates that the promoting effect on the employment structure of state-owned enterprises,non-labor-intensive enterprises,and enterprises in the eastern region is significant,and that the effect on the employment scale only shows obvious differences among regions.The conclusions of this paper may provide policy references for deepening the construction of free trade pilot zones and achieving high-quality employment.
