摘要
天津公共乐队是一支完全由中国人组成的铜管乐队,在1886-1901年天津“飞地”外侨的音乐生活中扮演着重要角色。该乐队的产生、发展及消亡,与该时期天津“飞地”的历史、社会语境紧密相连。其不仅是实现外侨社交方式的关键载体,也是其情感维系的重要纽带,并支撑与保障了这一时期外侨“完全娱乐化和社交化”的音乐生活。
The Tianjin Public Band,a brass band composed entirely of Chinese members,played a significant role in the musical life of foreign residents in the Tianjin"enclave"from 1886 to 1901.The emergence,development,and eventual dissolution of this band were closely tied to the historical and social context of the Tianjin"enclave"during this period.As a form of"social interaction"and"emotional bond",it supported and guaranteed the"entirely recreational and social"musical life of foreign residents during this time.
