The Evolution of Lead Materials in Qi Culture Area during the Warring States Period and Its Periodization

摘要 战国齐文化区青铜器的铅料经历复杂的演替变化。战国初年延续春秋时期的外来格局,主要利用中原与鄂东赣北铅料。公元前5世纪后半,来自越地的浙东铅大量进入海岱地区。公元前4世纪前半,伴随三晋与越对齐的长期孤立与征伐,泰沂山地的高放射性成因铅料得到迅速开发,成为齐地铸铜业的必要补充,并成为此后齐文化兴盛期具有特色的铅资源类型。战国晚期田齐复国后,本地高放铅逐渐衰退,为燕辽和中原的铅料替代。战国齐文化区铅资源的变迁是东周各文化区从统一经历分立再迈向统一的缩影,也是黄河流域进入铁器时代后冶金生产繁荣并本地化的重要实证。 In the Qi culture area during the Warring States period,lead materials for making bronzeware went through a complex evolutionary process.The early period saw a continuation of the Spring and Autumn pattern,when lead materials mainly came from the Central Plains,eastern Hubei,and northern Jiangxi.In the second half of the fifth century BC,a large amount of lead from eastern Zhejiang,which belonged to the Yue culture area,entered the Haidai region.By the first half of the fourth century BC,with the long-term isolation and conquest of the Qi state by the Han,Zhao,Wei,and Yue states,high radiogenic lead(HIR)materials in Mount Taishan and Yimeng mountainous area were rapidly exploited.They became a necessary supplement to the bronze casting industry in Qi and a distinctive type of lead resource during the prime days of the Qi culture.After the restoration of Qi territory in the late Warring States period,local HIR materials declined and were replaced by lead materials from the Yanliao region and the Central Plains.The changes in lead resources in the Qi culture area during the Warring States period reflect the unification-separation-reunification transition of various Eastern Zhou cultural areas.They also give important evidence of the prosperity and localization of metallurgical production in the Yellow River Basin in the Iron Age.
