摘要
模糊性是自然语言的本质特征。制浆造纸专业英语受专业性、文化差异等因素影响,模糊语言现象更为突出,给翻译工作带来诸多挑战。基于此,基于模糊语言学理论,分析了制浆造纸专业英语在概念表达、语法结构、语用理解等方面的模糊特点,提出了概念辨析与对等表达、语法转换与重构、语境分析与语用补偿等英语翻译技术,并评估了其在制浆造纸领域的应用效果,以期为该领域英语教学和翻译实践提供参考。
Ambiguity is an essential characteristic of natural language.The phenomenon of vague language in pulp and paper professional English is more prominent due to factors such as professionalism and cultural differences,which brings many challenges to translation work.This article is based on the theory of fuzzy linguistics,analyzing the fuzzy characteristics of conceptual expression,grammatical structure,pragmatic understanding,and other aspects of pulp and paper professional English.It proposes English translation techniques such as concept discrimination and equivalent expression,grammatical conversion and reconstruction,contextual analysis and pragmatic compensation,and evaluates their application effects in the field of pulp and paper,in order to provide reference for English teaching and translation practice in this field.
