Objective Exploring the clinical efficacy of combined Shenfu injection and low-dose glucocorticoids in the treatment of septic shock. Methods From January 2021 to December 2023,a comparative study was conducted on 80 patients with septic shock from the First Hospital of Fujian Nanping. They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method:a control group (40 cases, receiving conventional treatment);and an observation group (40 cases, treated with Shenfu injection combined with low-dose glucocorticoids).Compare the inflammatory factors, blood lactate levels, hemodynamic and immune function indicators,as well as the duration and clinical efficacy of vasoactive drug use between two groups of patients before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the interleukin-6 (IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α),blood lactic acid level, hemodynamic indexes and immune function indexes in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the use time of vasoactive drugs was shortened, and the total clinical effective rate was higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05).Conclusion After receiving Shenfu injection combined with low-dose glucocorticoid therapy, the level of inflammatory mediators in the patients with septic shock decreased significantly, and the therapy can effectively improve the perfusion and oxygenation status of the patients' tissues, and has a good regulation effect on their immune function.
