摘要
金隄是我国非常有成就的翻译理论学者和文学翻译家。在翻译理论方面,其在我国最早提出“等效翻译理论”,使之成为一种具有中国特色的英汉两种文化转换的翻译原则;在翻译实践上,金隄是首位将西方文学名著《尤利西斯》译成汉语的译者,这对于《尤利西斯》在中国的传播以及意识流这种表现手法在中国当代文学创作中的应用起了很大的作用。
Jin Di is a highly accomplished translation theorist and literary translator in China. As far as the translation theory is concerned, he firstly in my country developed the equivalent translation theory, making it a principle with Chinese characteristics for cultural conversion between English and Chinese. In terms of translation practice, Jin Di is the first translator translating the western literary classics, Ulysses into Chinese, which plays a big role in the circulation of Ulysses in China and the application of the stream of consciousness as a technique in the composition of Chinese contemporary literature.
