摘要
PPR (pentatricopeptide repeat)蛋白是陆地植物中普遍存在的一大类核编码的蛋白质,主要在细胞器RNA编辑、剪接、稳定和翻译等转录后加工过程中发挥作用,对植物的生长发育至关重要。本文主要对PPR蛋白在叶绿体发育与成熟过程中的表达调控作用及机制进行总结,以期为PPR蛋白影响叶绿体生物合成和质体基因表达调控方面提供新的研究思路。
Pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR) proteins are known as a large group of nuclear-encoded proteins in terrestrial plants. They mainly play important roles in the post-transcriptional processing of organelle RNA, like editing, splicing, stabilization, and translation, which are crucial for plant growth and development. In this review, the mechanism of PPR proteins and regulation of gene expression during the chloroplast development and maturation are summarized, in order to provide new ideas of PPR proteins for the influence on chloroplast biosynthesis and plastid gene expression regulation.
