摘要
针对目前密度概念在理论上和实践中存在的片面化、单一化、唯数字化等误区,尝试对常见的密度概念进行历史梳理,解析在密度中的物质和感知概念之间的二元对立关系;并把密度概念中的"数学模式"与"特定场景"相结合,将物质密度概念和感知密度概念置于辩证统一的理论框架下,在实践中通过"设计的技艺"对建筑的形式与使用效率进行平衡考量。
Targeting at numerous misconceptions of building density as understood in a singular, quantified and linear way, this paper provides a historical review of the concepts of building density and attempts to elucidate the relationship between physical density and perceived density. The attributes of ‘mathematical pattern’ and ‘situated type’ embodied in the concepts of density ought to be jointly considered so that physical density and perceived density can be put in practice within a holistic theoretical framework. On this basis, it maintains, through the craft of design, building form and floor area utilization can be treated in balance.
