摘要
美国成人教育专业组织不仅是成人教育专业化的重要标志,也是实现社会治理现代化不可忽视的主体。19世纪60年代以来,美国成人教育专业组织发展是一个逐步演进的过程,经历了初步探索期、成长奠基期、蓬勃发展期和深化成熟期等不同的阶段,逐渐从“边际”走向“主流”,呈现出由单一走向多元、由关注群体走向关注个体、由本土实践走向国际合作、由孤立分散走向整合统一的逻辑特征。未来美国成人教育专业组织的发展将进一步彰显人文主义精神和在社会治理中的作用,国际化程度、成人教育专业化水平日益增强,以促进成人教育的持续发展和社会治理现代化。
The professional organization for adult education in the United States is not only an important symbol of adult education specialization but also a subject that cannot be ignored in realizing the modernization of social governance.Since the 1860s,the professional organization development of adult education in the United States has undergone an evolutionary process.It has gone through different stages such as the initial exploration,the growth and laying foundation,the vigorous development and the deepening maturity,gradually moving from"marginal"to"mainstream",which presents the following logical characteristics:from the single to the multiple,from the group-oriented to the individual-oriented,from local practice to international cooperation,and from isolation and dispersion to integration and unity.In the future,the development of the professional organization for adult education in the United States will further highlight the spirit of humanism,its role in social governance,and the degree of internationalization,and professional level of adult education will be increasingly enhanced to promote the sustainable development of adult education and the modernization of social governance.
