摘要
本工作测定了短碳纤维(CF)含量由0—40v.-%的CF/PPS,CF/PES—C 复合材料的断裂韧性K_(1c)值。K_(1c)随 CF 含量增加而提高,当 CF 含量为25v.-%时达最高值,以后略有下降。复合材料载荷(P)-缺口张开位移(△V)曲线的非线性和阶梯式扩展特征,表明存在裂纹止裂和裂纹闭合效应。结合断口观察结果讨论了短碳纤维增强热塑性树脂复合材料的断裂机理。
The fracture toughness K_(1c)and tensile strength σ_b of short carbon fiber(CF)re-inforced polyphenylene sulfide(PPS)and polyarylethersulfone with cardo group(PES-C)com-posites which contain volume fraction of CF in the range from 0 to 40 v.-%,have been meas-ured.K_(1c)and σ_b increase as increasing of CF content until 25 v.-%,then decrease slightly.Theload-deflection curves show a non-linear characteristic and an appreciable permanentdeformation after unloading is also observed.These features are explained by the crack closureeffect due to the pulled-out of fibers.The crack propagation exhibits a“ladder”behaviour aftercracking for some composites.The fracture mechamism for CF/thermoplastic composite hasbeen discussed.
