摘要
文章根据概念隐喻理论、认知翻译假设和隐喻翻译模型,归纳出动物隐喻翻译主要的三种模式:对等映射、归化映射和喻义映射,并用以分析《红楼梦》中的动物隐喻翻译,归纳出四种情况:重合隐喻、平行隐喻、冲突隐喻、空缺隐喻,探讨动物隐喻的翻译策略。
According to Conceptual Metaphor Theory, Cognitive Translation Hypothesis and Metaphor Translation Model, This paper summarizes three main models of animal metaphors’ translation: peer mapping, domesticating mapping and connotative mapping and analyzes four aspects of translation of animal metaphors in A Dream of Red Mansions: overlapping metaphor, parallel metaphor,conflicting metaphor and vacant metaphor, and discusses the animal metaphor’s translation strategies.
