摘要
由于对翻译本质的认识不够充分,翻译质量的评估出现了语言分析与社会评估之间和各自内部的割裂。文章采用了House的分类,描述了割裂的各种现象,指出割裂的原因是出自对“意义”的理解及其在翻译中的作用、以及评估参数的模糊性。概念整合理论的引入突破了翻译的隐喻观,“意义”的经验哲学思考有利于拉近我们对翻译本质的认识,便于我们从概念结构的角度更全面地评估翻译。
Translation evaluation disintegrates between, and among, linguistic analysis and social judgement on account of fussy understanding of translation. The paper, adopting House＇s classification, depicts those disintegrated evaluations which emanate from different concepts of “meaning” and its role in translation in addition to their vague parameters. Conceptual integration theory awakens us from metaphorical interpretation of translation. Philosophical digestion of “meaning” in terms of experientialism brings us closer to the nature of translation and makes it possible for us to command a panoramic view, through conceptual structure, in evaluating translation.
