About the development of the health food enriched with γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in Japan etc is introduced. Such health food including Gabaron tea, rice germ, rice bran, germinated brown rice, cheese and a super-GABA by lactic acid bacteria and yeast fermentation process.
