摘要
开放大学的教育不同于普通高等教育,它是依赖于技术的进步和网络的发达存在的,是一种教育类型的升级。它面向的教育对象有别于普通高等教育的对象,是那些具有接受高等教育愿望的成人学习者,同样在办学中也不能一味效仿普通高校的做法,应当坚持开放教育的理念,依据成人学习的特点,制订符合成人学习需求的人才培养标准,满足高等教育大众化的需求。只有这样,开放大学才能体现出自身价值,发挥自身在构建国家终身教育体系中的作用。
The construction of open universities must be clear. The education of open universities is different from general higher education, because it relies on the developed technology and the advanced networks, and it is a new educational type which upgraded from the traditional adult education. Their objects, which mean those adult learners with the desires for higher education, are different from the objects of general higher education. Meanwhile, open universities cannot blindly follow the practices of colleges and universities. They should insist on the concept of open education, and formulate the training mode standards which based on the learning characteristics of adults and the needs of adult learners and higher education popularization. Only in this way, open universities can show their own value, and play key roles in the process of constructing the national lifelong education system.
