摘要
采用功率半导体器件实现的固态断路器(solid state circuit breaker,SSCB)具有无弧、快速、精确的分断性能,应用前景十分广阔。该文在传统固态断路器基础上提出了一种基于集成门极换流晶闸管(integrated gate commutated thyristor,IGCT)和普通晶闸管(silicon controlled rectifier,SCR)的新型直流固态限流断路器(solid state current limiting circuit breaker,SSCLCB)技术方案,能显著减小小电流分断时间,改善主开关IGCT并联工作的可靠性,提高断路器功率等级,并完成了1500V/4000A断路器原理样机的初步设计。在理想直流系统中的限流分断过程仿真结果表明,断路器能在50μs时间内实现13k A、20A/μs短路电流的换流分断,并将短路电流峰值限制在17k A以内。样机试验结果显示,4000A正常工作电流直接分断时间不超过10μs,并在50μs内完成了13k A短路电流的换流分断,验证了新型直流固态限流断路器技术方案的正确性和实际应用的可行性。
Due to the obvious advantages of no arc, super speed and accurate controlling in the interruption process, the solid state circuit breaker(SSCB) using power semiconductors has wide application prospects. A novel DC solid state current limiting circuit breaker(SSCLCB) proposal based on the integrated gate commutated thyristor(IGCT) and silicon controlled rectifier(SCR) was introduced, which can significantly reduce the interruption time for low current, and improve the reliability for IGCT parallel operation to expand the power level. Then a 1500V/4000 A breaker prototype was preliminary designed. The current limiting interruption simulation results in an ideal DC power system shows that the breaker could carry out current commutation and interruption in 50μs for the fault current of 13 kA, 20A/μs, limiting the short circuit current peak value below 17 kA meanwhile. In the breaker prototype test, 4000 A normal current is interrupted directly in 10μs, and 13 kA short circuit current commutation and interruption is accomplished in 50μs, by which the correctness and practical feasibility of the novel proposal are verified.
