摘要
介绍了15kA晶闸管分断开关的工作环境及工作原理。在理论分析、仿真及大量实验的基础上,分析了放电回路参数及开关结构参数对分断过程的影响。实验表明,该开关的合理结构形式确保了并联晶闸管元件在分断过程中的一致性。由实验确定的晶闸管元件临界关断条件,为选择合理的(放电回路)电容、电感参数提供了依据,既确保了开关的可靠性、经济性,又保证了开关结构紧凑、美观,其快速、可靠的分断特性可以满足EAST装置系统实验的需求。
Based on the requirement of poloidal field power supply system in experimental advanced superconducting Tokamak (EAST), A 15kA thyristor-based opening-switch is developed, which is used to supply loop voltage to initiate plasma, to reduce peak power of power supply, and to provide quench protection for superconducting magnets. This paper began with introducing the circumstance and the principle under which the switch works; then described the analyzing of the parameters which influence the turn-off time of the switch; finally, on the basis of simulation and experiment, described the characteristic of the transient turn-off processes of the switch. Rated 15kA in current, 2.SkV in voltage , and with turn-off time less than 2 milliseconds, this rapid and reliable opening-switch satisfies the requirement of the system experiment of EAST.
