摘要
文章介绍了美国国家博物馆图书馆服务理事会和地方层面公共图书馆理事会的组织运作机制,并从监管型理事会和顾问型理事会的角度对美国地方公共图书馆和地方公共图书馆联合体做了梳理,指出了美国公共图书馆理事会制度的四个重要发展趋势:全局战略规划职能日益加强,全方位参与公共文化服务,公共图书馆理事协会管理,注重公共图书馆资源整合等。
This paper introduced the development and operation of National Museum and Library Service Board and state libraries＇ board systems, and analyzed governing board and advisory board in America local public libraries and public library system. The trend of four respects on development of pubiic library board system in America are ex- plored including the strengthening of overall strategic planning functions of board of trustees, the fully participation in public culture service, the association management of public libraries managing the board trustee, the integration of public libraries resources.
