书院发展源远流长,朱熹、张载等思想大师奠定了书院发展的学术基础。封龙书院是北方著名学术重镇,与其他书院不同的是,封龙书院在数学家李冶主持下成为数学研究圣地,其研究独树一帜。上千年的书院发展铸就了独特书院人文精神,这就是"德业"为本,明理求仁;心忧天下,关注民生;注重学术,兼容并蓄;格物致知,身体力行;居敬立基,尊师重礼。书院人文精神是中华民族精神重要组成部分,对今天核心价值观建设具有重要启示意义。
The college has a long history in the development. Zhu Xi, Zhang Zai and other scholars laid the academic basis for the development of academy. The FengLong college was an important aca- demic base in northern China. Unlike other colleges, The FengLong college became a an important point about mathematics research when Li Ye was in charge of the college who was a famous mathe- matician, so FengLong college flied one＇s own colours. The colleges development of thousands of years brings about the humanistic spirit of unique academy. They includes improving the level of moral, seeking the truth, paying attention to the livelihood of the people, including all views, paying atten- tion to the academic, studying diligently, doing things yourself, respecting the teachers, getting along with friends. The humanistic spirit of traditional colleges is important part of the Chinese national spirit. So it provides important inspiration to Core values construction.
