摘要
《四月八吃狗屁馍的由来》的传说准确地解释了壮民吃"狗屁馍"习俗的缘起。之所以如此认为,是因为该传说对壮民吃"狗屁馍"习俗缘起的解释契合于古代人的思维逻辑或思维特征。传说中,百姓把疾病看作妖魔所致;神仙(巫师)施展法术,让人们通过巫术灵物驱妖避祟,消除瘟疫。在前辈人类学家研究原始文化的著作中很容易找到类似的描述与记叙。相互对照,足以证明《四月八吃狗屁馍的由来》的传说对壮民吃"狗屁馍"习俗缘起的解释之不虚。
The legend ＂the reason for eating gou-pi-mo on the 8th day of the 4th month in lunar calendar＂ accurately explains the origin of Zhuang people＇s custom of eating ＂gou-pi-mo＂（literally ＂ shit buns＂,actually akind of cake made of glutinous rice mixed with minced leaves）.The legend＇s explanation corresponds to the thinking logic or characteristics of ancient people.In this legend,people believed that diseases were caused by demons;and immortals（wizards）could cast spells to help people drive demons away,avoid calamity and eliminate the plague by witchcraft fetish.Similar description and narration in the works on primitive cultures by the precursor of anthropologists are quite common,which may sufficiently prove that the lagend well explains Zhuang people＇s custom of eating ＂shit buns＂.
