Objective To research the operation and clinical treatment effect of salpingocatheterism in the treatment of secretory otitis media after radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma based on conventional treatment. Methods 80 cases with secretory otitis media after radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated in our hospital from January 2010 to January 2014 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the difference of treatment scheme. The control group received conventional treatment, based on which the observation group was treated with salpingoeatheterism, eaeh group for 40 cases. After treating for 3 months, the clinical treatment effect and complica- tions between two groups were compared. Results The total clinical treatment effective rate of observation group was evidently better than that of control group, which had statistical significance (P〈0.05).The probability rate of the compli- cations in observation group was 17.5%,lower than 52.5% in control group, which had statistical significance (P〈O.05). Conclusion It is common that there is the complication of secretory otitis media after radiotherapy, which has severe in- fluence on the treatment of nasopharynx cancer, and reduces the life quality and treatment compliance of the patients. Combining the scheme of salpingocatheterism based on conventional treatment can improve the clinical treatment effect of secretory otitis media, which has the advantages of efficient and safe.h is worth of clinical attention and popularity.
