The Influence Factors of Process Innovation——Empirical Analysis of Chinese Listed Manufacturing Enterprises

摘要将我国制造业上市公司2001~2010年间的专利分类为工艺专利和产品专利,并利用负二项回归模型,实证研究了影响工艺创新的关键因素。研究发现企业年龄、规模、出口及吸收能力对工艺创新具有显著的正向作用,而国有企业对工艺创新存在抑制作用,且金融约束越少,越有利于工艺创新,没有证据支持资本的密集度对工艺创新存在显著影响,并且工艺创新影响因素的行业间差异很大。 The paper classifies patent data of Chinese listed manufacturing enterprises from 2001 to 2010 into product and process patents and takes use of the negative binomial regression model to empirically study the key influencing factors of process innovation. Results show that firm age,size,export and absorptive capacity have significant positive effect on process innovation. However,the state-owned enterprises inhibit it. Moreover,the less financial constraints imposed on companies,the more process innovations are performed. It doesn＇t find significant effect of capital intensity on process innovation. Besides,influence factors of process innovation vary greatly across industry.
