摘要
外宣翻译是一种跨语言、跨文化的信息交流。由于汉英两种语言与文化之间存在着巨大差异,变通策略在外宣翻译中必不可少。文章认为,外宣译者应当积极发挥自己的主体性作用,以使外宣文本既能做到传达正确又能让国外受众喜闻乐见。文中采用的例子主要取自福建省对外新闻、旅游和企业外宣翻译资料。
Promotional material translation is informational communication across languages and cultures.Because of the great differences existing in both the two languages and cultures between English and Chinese,adapted translation is unavoidable.This paper holds that the translators for foreign promotion should use every exertion during the process to ensure that foreign audience can have correct and delighted acceptance of the original information.The examples used in this thesis were mainly quoted from Fujian TV news translations,tourism translations and translations of promotional materials of Fujian enterprises.
