公共图书馆作为社会公共事业的组成部分,应该体现出对社会弱势群体的人文关怀。介绍了社会弱势群体的概念及其构成,探讨了公共图书馆为弱势群体提供服务的必要性,阐述了公共图书馆为弱势群体服务的现状及其原因,提出了加强为弱势群体服务的措施。
The public library, being as a part of the social public utilities, should manifest the humanistic concern for social vulnerable groups. This paper introduces the concept of social vulnerable groups and their components, probes into the necessity for the public library to provide services for vulnerable groups, expounds the current status of public library＇s services for vulnerable groups and the reasons, and puts forward some measures for strengthening the services for vulnerable groups.
