摘要
通过试验研究了普通和超声切削新型颗粒增强金属基复合材料SiCp/Al的切削特性 ,得到了超声振动切削该新材料的切屑形态、切屑变形系数、剪切角和表面残余应力的变化规律 ,研究表明 :金属基复合材料的切削过程不完全是塑性材料的切削过程 ,而是有些类似脆性材料的破坏形式 ,超声振动切削复合材料和振动切削其他塑性材料的规律较为相似 ,但由于材料本身的结构特点 ,形成的切屑仍属于塑性和半塑性的节状切屑 ,此外振动切削的切向残余压应力较普通切削大 ,在试验的切深下 。
Cutting performance of metallic matrix particulate reinforced composites SiCp/Al in ultrasonic vibration cutting and common cutting is experimentally researched.The changing rules of chip shape,d eformation coeffici ent,shear angle and surface residual stress when ultrasonic vibration cutting a re presented.Research result shows:the cutting process of metallic matrix com posites is not all like the cutting process of plastic material.It is similar t o t he breaking process of brittle materials.But the chip still belongs to plastic o r semiplastic segmental chip due to the structure characteristics of the materia l itself.Furthermore,tangential residual compression stress of vibration cutti ng is larger than that of common cutting and it does not change obviously with cutting depth.
