美国研究型大学自产生以来即通过科学研究和人才培养等方式积极参与社会服务 ,为二战的胜利及战后经济恢复发展发挥了极其重要的作用。为更好地实现社会服务功能 ,美国研究型大学采取了一系列行之有效的策略 ,其中包括科研成果转让 ;培养学生的社会参与意识和能力 ;发挥教师的专业特长 ;
Through scientific research and talent training research universities in U.S have played an important role in winning WWII and boosting the economy. To better serve society, they begin to adopt a series of measures such as transferring research results, encouraging students' participation in social life, giving full play to staff's specialty and setting up a whole system for social service.
