摘要
人民调解制度是从中国古代社会的诉讼外调解演化发展而来的。它有向现代性转换的坚实的文化心理、伦理道德和现实制度的基础。它意义重大,是解决诉讼以外矛盾冲突的现代“东方经验”。
The people's conciliation system, which has grown out of extra-litigation mediation in ancient Chinese society, has a solid foundation for cultural psychology, ethics and morality as well as current system. It is modern 'Oriental Experience' designed to solve extra-lawsuit contradictions and clashes, with great significance.
