摘要
石油树脂中性施胶剂烯基琥珀酸酐(ASA)本身是水不溶性的且易发生水解,需加入乳化剂和分散剂使之分散于水,与纸浆纤维形成化学结合。讨论了在ASA使用前加入阳离子大分子对其乳化和用苯乙烯二甲胺基乙基丙烯酸酯共聚物作为乳化剂和分散剂,以及影响ASA应用效果的各种因素。
ASA sizing emulsions have some drawbacks.For example,ASA materials are not water soluble and,therefore,must be uniformly suspended in pulp to permit sufficient contact with the fibers to achieve the desired sizing effect on the final paper product.ASA must be emulsified before using as a sizing agent because it is an oil based material.The cationic polymer can be used as the emulsifier and dispersant,which are the cationic styrene N,N dimethaminethylacrylate copolymers.The ASA mixture can be emulsified.The polymer is used,in an aqueous system,to help disperse the ASA droplets in an emulsion,and keep them from coagulating together,and forming much larger droplets.A method for sizing paper using such an emulsion is also described.
