汉语委婉语是因社会需要而产生的一种语言现象，它是以婉转、温和的语言来表达难听的或不便直接提到的对象。汉语委婉语有其自身的特征，本文以大量的实例为基础，具体分析了汉语委婉语的可接受性、间接性、民族性、时代性等特征。
