摘要
国民性概念的分歧与不确定是阻碍国民性研究深入发展的最大障碍。对人格、人性、民族性等与国民性相类似的概念进行辨析，国民性的内涵与外延可以作出崭新的界定：一个民族的大多数成员在一定历史时期内所普遍表现出来的道德价值观念、社会心理与相应的行为方式的固有特征的总和。
Divergence and indefiniteness about the concept of nationality are major obstacles to the further study of nationality. To analyse personality, humanity and nationalism which are similar to nationality, one can define nationality like this:it is the summation of the intrinsic features of moral values, social psychol- ogy and the relevant behavior mode which most people of a nation embody in a historical period.
