摘要
利用光纤的全反射特性及不同折射率物质界面上反射光强度不同的原理 ,设计一种基于光强调制的光纤液位测量系统。通过测量反射光强度的变化 ,获得有关液位的信息。仪器安装在液体容器的顶部 ,探头由两根光纤构成 ,信号处理系统全部在被测体外部。具有检测现场无电、防爆、防静电、无机械活动部件、能长距离在线测量、长期运行稳定和体积小等优点 。
Based on the total internal reflection of light, which is disturbed with liquid, and the variation reflective intensity with the variation of refractive index of the medium around the tip of the sensitive element, an intensity based fiber optic liquid level measuring system is described. The information about liquid level can be gained through detecting the intensity of light.Instrument whose probe is made of two optical fibers is fixed on the top of container and all the signal processing systems are placed out of the measuring spot.There are many advantage adopting the system :no electricity in testing field,explosion proof,stable to long operation,work on line for long distance and will be widely required in controlling the level of flammable liquid.
