摘要
身份困惑、流浪意识与心理异化鼎足而三 ,共同构筑了美国当代犹太裔作家索尔·贝娄的艺术殿堂。然而 ,如果在研究其作品时仅限于此 ,则会对其主题思想浅尝辄止 ,难以抓住实质。实际上 ,贝娄作品中的主题思想包融了十分浓郁的犹太文化气韵 :身份困惑是夹缝文化的产物 ,流浪意识是犹太民族流浪史在其作品中的映射 。
The paper, divided into three parts, makes a profound discussion about the themes in Saul Bellow's writings and their Jewish cultural origins. It points out that puzzleness of identity, sense of tramping and alienation of mind are, in fact, the embodiment of sandwiched culture, tramping history and paradoxical phenomenon of the Jewish race in Bellow's writings.
