In this paper, the mechanism of autogenous shrinkage of cement- based materials is elucidated, and the model of autogenous shrinkage in macro-dimension is discussed, as well as the measuring of methods of autogenous shrinkage. Autogenous shrinkage of ultra-high performance mortar with W/B=0.16 is investigated.
