摘要
文章运用民族志调查材料，就巫的起源及巫师在民族地区的历史演变作了梳理，并对巫师在历史和现实生活中的影响进行了分析。认为女巫在历史上的出现早于男巫；巫师在历史上曾发挥重要作用，只是后来受外来文化的冲击影响，巫师的社会地位和职能被排斥、削弱。
With the help of researching materials from national annals,the author tries to outline the origin of witch and Witch's historical evolution in nationalities' aveas, and to analyse the influence of wizard both from the respects of history and practical lives, It concludes that sorceress emerged much earlier than sorcerer; wizard has ever ptayed a veny important role in history, only becauce it was greatly influenced by external culture, its social position and function were severely weakened later.
