摘要
旅游资料作为外国游客了解中国的窗口,在中国旅游产业的发展中起着重要作用。因此,旅游资料的翻译就显得尤为重要。本文从功能翻译理论的角度对泰山旅游资料的英译进行探讨,分析了泰山旅游资料英译中出现的错误,并提出了相应的翻译策略。
As a window for foreign tourists to know more about China, tourism literature is of great importance to the development of Chinese tourism industry. Thus the translation of tourism literature becomes increasingly signifi- cant. This paper probes into the translation of Mount Tai tourism literature in the light of functional translation theo- ry with detailed analysis of translation errors and suggests some specific strategies for tourism literature translation from Chinese to English.
